A Property and Casualty Insurance Company is experiencing significant growth in the number of new policies as well as the number of incoming electronic documents. The volume of information is doubling every 6 months with staff unable to keep up. After soliciting competitive bids and checking various OCR engines' accuracy, ABBYY Flexicapture was selected. OCR was integrated with the internal databases to ensure the proper hand-off to the downstream automated systems.
