Situation
A brand family operating in a high-margin, low-volume prescription drug space came up with a concept of the SMS Diary with dialog capability and natural language processing. The diary is meant to encourage patient prescription compliance and brand engagement. The system needed to be flexible enough to handle a variety of data types and sequences that the data can be provided in.

Solution
Partnering with the leading SMS gateway provider ValexConsulting developed a Microsoft .NET and SQL server based application that processes irregular inputs and steers the "dialog" with the consumer. Moreover, the system has comprehensive multi-level reminder service (email and SMS) and web front-end for performing diary entries via web as well as cell phone.

Benefits
The client was able to roll out the application to its brand ambassadors that consequently spread the awareness among a small community of potential patients (rare hereditary genetic disorder).
