Situation
A client services division of a major US Bank needed a scalable web based solution for resetting customer PINs as well as adding new inquiry and fund transfer accounts. The solution would cut the time that it takes the existing staff to do these tasks by over 80%. Instead of involving multiple groups and staff from other departments, everything could be done in a secure online environment with audit-trail and encryption.

Solution
Microsoft ASP.NET framework was implemented utilizing: ASP.NET in VB, Oracle 9i and interfaces to Mainframe Kirchman D3000 system using IBM MQ integration. The new application offers faster performance and turnaround time for users as well as clients of the bank, more stability and security, and a dramatically lower total cost of ownership.
