Alex Zhitomirsky - Principal
Alex Zhitomirsky founded ValexConsulting, Inc in 1998 focusing on the growing Information Technology industry, specifically the Internet strategy and solutions consulting market. Alex shapes the company's vision and strategy, builds the ValexConsulting brand, and seeks out channels for developing business and partnerships. He has a passion for rapid, iterative, and collaborative solution delivery techniques but also has significant experience with more traditional application development approaches. Alex has over ten years consulting experience in developing and implementing enterprise applications in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Nonprofit, and Professional Services industries - working for firms such as Wyeth, Merck, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moodys, JP Morgan Chase and Commerce Bank. He has implemented solutions ranging from mainframe-based banking packages to custom-built Internet applications to Data Warehouses. His functional expertise is in the areas of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Process Management (BPM), Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM). Alex received his Bachelor of Science from Drexel University. He has received his MBA from Villanova University.

Michael M. Carter - Corporate Development Advisor
Michael M. Carter is a Managing Director of The Musser Group and a partner in The Musser Consulting Group. Mike is a former software and IT Services entrepreneur and executive. Mike is founder and former CEO of Dashboard Systems, now part of Cisco Systems funded CXO Systems, where he served as head of corporate, business development and marketing. Prior to founding Dashboard Systems, Mike founded and was CEO of Ajunto, the first online marketplace for the IT Industry and now part of Web Services software leader SOA Software, serving as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer following the acquisition in 2001. Carter was SVP and Chief Marketing Officer for US Interactive and helped take the company public as an Executive Officer and as the youngest officer of any Safeguard Scientifics funded public company. Carter began his career in client-server technology with Cambridge Technology Partners working in a variety of leadership roles in consulting, sales, and marketing. Carter holds a B.S. and M.S. from Saint Joseph's University, and serves on the Board of Visitors for the Moorestown Friends School. Additionally Mike is a member of the Legatus Organization and serves as Co-Chairman of DirectorForce.

Ray Schweighofer - Business Dev and Technology Advisor
Ray Schweighofer brings over 20 years of hands-on consulting expertise in enterprise architecture, IT project management and technology leadership, with expertise in both the Java/J2EE and .NET Application Architecture frameworks. He has specialized skills in Enterprise Architecture, Service Oriented Architectures, Web Services, Distributed Computing, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Online Transaction Processing, and Data Warehousing Systems. Mr. Schweighofer is an expert with practical knowledge in both Agile and traditional SDLC methodologies such as the Rational Unified Process (RUP). He has superior skills in UML 1.1/2.0 as well as business process mapping (BPM) using BPEL that has contributed to the successful re-engineering of various organizations in industries such as banking, financial services, government, human resources, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, call center administration, hospital management, manufacturing and e-retailing. His enterprise level Application Architecture experience has focused on Inter-operability, Re-usability, Web/Distributed Computing, and extensive Mainframe Integration by helping various IT organizations deliver true business value. Ray’s current focus is on helping Global 2000 organizations utilized improved IT Economic strategies through the implementation Service Oriented Architectures, including improvement of IT Governance through a combination of Agile and traditional Software Development Methodologies such as RUP. Through his teachings at Penn State Great Valley in Malvern PA since 1997, he has served as the Lead instructor for various technology certification programs that has certified over 700 students and provided corporate training to JP Morgan Chase, Wyeth, LiquidHub Inc, CSC and the City of Philadelphia. Ray's Work has been noted in industry publications such as RT Magazine, PCWeek, InfoWorld, DBMS Magazine and ComputerWorld. Ray has presented at various technology events sponsored by the Eastern Technology Council, Penn State, Microsoft, International Oracle Users Group (IOUG) and SHRM.

Jon Biedermann - Business Dev and Technology Advisor
Jon Biedermann, Vice President of DonorPerfect Fundraising Software, has served the non profit community for over 10 years. In 2001, he launched DonorPerfect Online, the leading ASP fundraising solution for non profit organizations in use by over 2000 accounts. Prior to joining DonorPerfect in 1995., Mr. Biedermann spent over four years with The Procter & Gamble Company serving as a lead developer in their Sales Management Systems Division. He has presented numerous seminars on the use of fund raising technology for Non Profit organizations and is recognized as an expert on Internet-based fund raising strategies. Mr. Biedermann graduated from Miami University, Oxford, OH, with a degree in System Analysis specializing in Finance.

Serguei Soltan - Architect
Serguei Soltan's skills span many industries and include designing and implementing system architectures as well as spearheading initiatives as development / team lead. He is an expert in custom application development, distributed environments, architecting scalable hardware and software applications and systems, and Web services application development.  At Valex Consulting, he spearheads product development and provides thought leadership to enterprise customers implementing custom and off-the-shelf products.  Prior to joining Valex Consulting, he worked at Breakaway Solutions, where he was a key technologist. Serguei holds a number of consulting and technical certificates as well performed architectural work for Merck, Verizon and Wyeth among others.

Nikita Morin - Architect
Nikita Morin has been with us for over three years. He brings more than 7 years of implementation experience in object-oriented programming (.NET, Java, etc.), database modeling and design, application integration and UI design. At Valex Consulting he is tasked with custom software development for a number of clients. He oversees 3rd party component selection and re-use as well as developing standards that allow our clients to save time and money.

Nick Golovko - Architect
Nick Golovko is a Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server, ASP) and LDAP guru. He has over 10 years of systems development and design experience in the portal, content management, email distribution systems and other areas. At Valex Consulting he is working directly with clients on a number of large-scale implementations. He acts as a technical lead for the retail business software development.

Michael Trojansky - Architect
Michael Trojansky is spearheading a product development effort for our non-profit software client. The system is highly transactional in nature and involves multiple integration points. He has been with Valex Consulting for over three years and brings more than 15 years of application architecture and development experience.

Alex Nikitin - Architect
Alex Nikitin is the newest senior addition to our team. His background in the financial industry over the past 10 years and his experience with agile development practices will greatly benefit a number of large-scale deployments Valex Consulting is involved in. His knowledge of database design and optimization is crucial for the data integration, business intelligence and reporting engagements.

Eugene Belin is a OOP guru (C++/J2EE) based in Massachusetts. He brings rapid application development methodology and prototyping to the team. His knowledge of distributed application development, data visualization and processing is proving pivotal to our custom software solutions offerings.
